Privacy Policy
This statement outlines the commitment of I.G.T. (Australia) Pty. Limited ("IGT") to the privacy and security of personal information collected during the course of business in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
To ensure compliance, IGT and its employees adhere to stringent privacy guidelines, which have been incorporated into IGT's policies and procedures, ensuring that correct work practices are adhered to in the course of IGT's day to day business activities.
Collection of Information:
IGT collects information in the normal course of its
business. Only information which is required to carry on that
business is collected.
When collecting information, IGT does so only by lawful and fair means. IGT also takes all reasonable steps to ensure that any person who the information relates to is aware of the purpose for which the information will be used.
IGT does not collect or retain sensitive information for any reasons other than in connection with it's daily business, and as required by various regulatory bodies and licensing authorities.
Use and Disclosure of Information:
At IGT, we understand the importance of ensuring that
personal information remains secure and is not disclosed to anyone
for any reasons other than for the primary purpose for which it was
collected. Any information collected will be used only for the
primary purpose and will not be disclosed to a third party except
where required by law or regulatory authority.
Quality of Data:
IGT will ensure that data collected, is accurate,
complete, and up to date.
Data Security:
At IGT, all personal information will be maintained in a
secure environment and will be up to date and accurate. Personal
information will only be maintained for the period of time for
which it is required. Personal information is secured on internal
computer servers, and additional security is provided as a result
of IGT internal procedures.
Openness:
IGT will ensure that its Privacy Policy is made available
to any person who requires it. The policy is available on the IGT website, and will periodically be published
in various industry publications.
Access and Correction:
IGT will provide access to any personal information which
it holds on an individual where required by the above legislation.
If a person believes that any personal information that IGT holds
is incomplete or inaccurate then IGT will update and correct the
information accordingly.
Transborder Data Flow:
IGT does not transfer personal information to a foreign
country for purposes other than to comply with licensing, due
diligence or compliance requirements or as otherwise required by
law or regulatory authority.
